i used a thin paintable undercoating
rockshoot or something like that.
once painted body colour you tend not to notice it
i think it looks pretty good so far |

| Rockguard? Some people think the black undercoating looks good behind the tires, especially on light colored cars. So you don't see the car color in the fenderwell. I can take it or leave it. |

I agree!! Lets the wheel/tire stand out!
If it is a driver... undercoat that sucka!!
On some of the Hotrods we do we have the backside of the fenders sprayed with bedliner @ our local Line-X!! That way there is no chance of catching a rock and putting a star in the paint!

thats what i did the quarter panels are all body worked and painted. |

Do you mean Stoneguard? It was made by Spies Hecker, I have it on my '57. Thin, not globby looking stuff. |
