Basically as the title says, how do I go about mounting a euro plate on the front of my 70 bug?

| There are two "L" brackets under the front bumper on my 71 super. I think that it's better to drill the plate instead of the bumper. |

There are two mounting brackets that are mounted under the bumper. The bumper already has the holes at the bottom for this. All you need to do is to fabricate them or find something similar. Then you may drill two holes on the plate or fabricate a holder for the plate.
I tried to draw how it's attached:

| If you don't want to drill, you can buy a mount. Do a Google search. You will need to know the size of the plate to make sure you get the right one. |

You can buy one of these, it is loaded with holes to line up wih the "L" brackets that Eren showed you. Then you just snap the frame shut with the plate inside. Works like a charm. http://www.autogeek.net/gerplatfram.html |
