I am running a 1.7 914 in my 73 VW bus....dual 40mm webers cam lifters reg pistons., I seem to be having trouble after the engine has been running a while. Starts right up ice cold, but after hwy or lots of in town driving it labors to start...then does, acts like it is flooded? what might I be dealing with, engine was just rebuilt, and it drives great. I have tried driving w/ lid open for more air and still trouble with hot starts? Any advice would be great!
