| ok - heres the deal - I paid WAY too much for a set of seatbelts off ebay [97 Florida Deluxe got  when I told him] anyway - turns out the guy sent me two drivers side belts - no spring washer and no plastic clips that attach to the side rail to hold them in place  So much for 'complete set' - anybody know where I might find these parts? I must admit - I didn't know there was a difference between the right and left belts - at first glance they look identicle  |

Check with DannyZ - I got both front and rear seat belts from him for my 67. You think this is tough, I have a 67 vert and the front belts are different from the sedan and incredibly rare, but they come along occassionally, keep looking. I may have some extra mounting hardware, if interested, I will look. |

I thought I had sent you these pictures (or posted them in a post for you). Anyway, here they are again. Note: the tab on the pivot limiting bracket (left side of the photo) is bent over, but it should stick out perpendicular to the bracket. This is the driver's (left) side assembly. The bracket on the left goes against the bottom of the "B" pillar, then everything is installed in sequence from left to right.
These retaining clips that attach to the "B" pillar can be elusive. The plastic gets brittle and disintigrates over time, leaving just the retaining screw in the b pillar.

codeMechanic - you are truly a Godsend - that would be tremendous :D
Florida - you did post those picts and that is how I discovered I didnt have what I needed - plus - the bent piece you refer to - MINE is also bent in the same way on each side - how in the world that even happened is baffling to me - therefore - those pieces will also need to be replaced - I am afreaid if I try to bend them back they will either weaken or break
Pharquearz - I dont really want to have to buy ANOTHER set from someone - You would shoot me if you knew what I paid for my set - that isnt even a true set!! |

Just bend it back carefully.

| I'm really sorry Cody. I have a box full of misc 67 seat belt parts as I think I ended up using 3 or 4 sets to make one good set. You are welcome to anything i have but it sounds like you are pretty well fixed up now. |

Considering you own a '67 as well, I believe you would have to say "we '67 guys..."
(Besides, I didnt name the cat, I'm just reporting the facts. By the looks of the avatar, this cat is rather sensitive about not having its litter box cleaned out promptly. Therefore, I might recommend not poking fun at him  ) |

Awwww, thanks Kent. I thought I had been excommunicated from the 67 brethren when Bill May busted me for that bastard front fender and I started building that tire smoking motor (which is almost finished)..... |
