Anyone know anything about this?

I have a 71 super sitting around and wanted to try building one of these with it... any ideas where to start?

Well, I'd pull the body off the pan, cut the pan in half, pull off al the stuff you don't need and see what you've got. From there, just put it back together with what you need and fab what you can't buy.

It might be easier to just build a small trailor and figure out how to attach some Beetle fenders to it.

I agree if you just buy a small trailer or weld up a frame for one it may be much easier. Then slap on a platform material of your choice and the ass of a fat chick. Fun welding project. Go for it and post it up.
