Looking for a "Jig" that will hold a starter motor
to bolt on to type 1 motors, IE: 1500/1600 to
test run on the ground.
Have had some in the past cut from an old tranny
and seen some made of a heavy plastic.
If you have any or know where to get one please
advise.

| Late bus bell housing. for 12V. old split case trans bell housings for 6V. I have an extra 6V one., but the 12V one I have has to use an automatic starter. The bushing hole is bad. |

If you want to buy something instead of recycle an old bellhousing, aircooled.net sells what you need. Search for "housing" and you should get it.
Sidenote: It really bugs me how you only get one search term with aircooled.net's website. For a company that prides itself on being an internet-only shop, to me that's ridiculous. I still buy from them, but it always takes me forever to find the parts I'm looking for. End rant. |
