anyone know the difference between the rotors for pre67 bug and 67 and up bug? pics would help alot

Well, since bugs didn't come with disc brakes until '67, and then in Europe only, the answer, is yes, they are different: one exists, the other doesn't.

If you mean aftermarket, you'd have to check with the supplier. Likely the change was in '66 when they went to ball joints and diferent spindles.

it depends on the distributor you are running.

67 and back would be the wide 5 bolt pattern and 68 would be 4 lug.
But these are all stock with drum brakes.

i agree with drscope. the only rotor in a 66 and older beetle is in the distributor. on 1967 1500 european deluxes it would have ghia rotors.

sorry for the confusion. i was asking about aftermarket discs brakes. are the rotors thicker for short and long axles?
