| Dang that was quick! I was only kidding but I'm not that interested in water cooled , maybe the tranny if it can be swapped onto an air cooled bus. I'm new to air cooled. Have had several w/c gti's and am burned out on them. My son has his first baja and that's how we came by the engine and tranny- he snagged it from a warehouse cleanout and figured he might be able to use it but... I guess I'll have to find the numbers on the tranny and go from there. Otherwise there'll be an engine for someone to pick op near Sacramento and maybe with a tranny. I don't know the engine size or if any of the parts could be cannibalized for his air cooled 1600. |

Is is a complete engine and trans? I would think if it is a waterboxer engine you would be able to tell the difference :? :P
