Saw a nice white over cherry red '72 westy today at the intersection of Katella and Glassell. He beeped, and when I looked over he looked away, I tried to beep but my horn didn't work, then I waved but he wasn't looking :(

If it's anyone on here, nice bus.

Just got home from a 10 day road trip from Fresno, CA to Vancouver, British Columbia with side trips to Kennewick, WA and the Oregon coast (2566 miles). Saw many Bays on the trip and managed to get pictures of three of them.

This early high top was spoted heading north on 99 near Merced, CA on 6-10. He was loaded for bear (even had a tow bar on the luggage rack).

Saw this single cab in Stanley Park (Vancouver, British Columbia)on 6-16. Also saw a pristine split window there (sorry no pic).

And finally this late Riviera on the way from Tacoma to Kennewick, WA on 6-17. This pic is not very good but it is a pic.

Which beach are you guys at?

Out here in the IE, it's still getting close to 90 and will be pushin' 100 by the weekend, overcast (holding humidity in!) or not. It's 102 here in my shop's 2nd story office right now, but only 92 down in the shop. I'm gettin' a cold one downstairs.

This one showed up about a month or so ago. It's a couple of blocks from my house.

Blue and white '71 that I found in the Kohls parking lot with my girlfriend. That's my '78 parked next to it.

Saw these on my route today. Very unusual to see two VW's in one day here in New England. And yes, on that single cab, the owner routed pipes from the exhaust all the way up to the stacks coming out of the bed. It actually looked pretty cool and he did a good job of making it look pretty good.

I have been seeing this one around for a couple of weeks, around the panhandle in SF. Today it was on Page and I was walking so I got a couple of pictures.

The windshield lip looks pretty shot. Its a non-walkthrough, which is kinda special. The spraypaint skull on the side is what caught my eye driving past it the first time.

The skull paint has grown on me, now it reminds me of what a kid would draw on his arm when he's eight years old. This is a lived in Westy. Looks like someone stuck a reflector off a tricycle on the front door.
