of all places to see buses, you would think that southern AZ would be full of them.

No.

mostly see them in the back alleys and parked next to a house. very, very few daily drivers. should have moved to washington or so cal if i wanted to see buses everyday.

Every couple weeks I see a little old lady (70s?) who drives around in an early Westy. It gets the biggest smile from me every time I see her. I haven't managed to get a photo yet.

As I was driving my '71 across town to work yesterday morning, I saw three other bays and thought that was pretty cool. Today I see this thread. I guess I need to have my camera with me and ready. Great thread!

Awesome Thread- I am totally doin it- As noted by others, western Wa has a fair amount to count....I can think of 5-6 within a few blocks of my home- but i am in granola crunchy Bellingham- once known as "Berkeley North"- or so I am told- thank God Something was "before my time" .

So, birdwatchers round here do an annual "count", where they attempt to count every single cotton pickin bird they can find in one day- just so they know what is cookin in the bird world....I am totally into a Bay count- let the games begin! heck, headstart if I drive over to NW Campers, aka johns' repair! or even Harmony has a big stash still.....

:wink: I lost the charger for my camera so I've not been posting much. Now that I'm rollin' down the 101 every day to work I see tons of bays that I've not photoed yet. I got to hit ebay for that charger...
