My horn and turn signal quit working. I have parking lights, headlights although the brights don't work now. The haynes manual dosen't help much but what I think it says is that I have a bad turn signal unit. I was hoping it was a fuse. What do you think?

Have you checked your fuses? I'll bet your brake lights don't work either.

Click on technical at the top of the page for the diagram for your year of bus and find which fuse

when humidity is high, a fuse can be continuous, and still no make contact with the fuse block tabs. corrosion builds over time, and often many fuses can begin to make poor connections at their ends, as many fuses dont get touched for years. give them all a quarter turn and back to knock off the corrosion.

Every few years, I remove my fuses and clean the contact surfaces with fine wire wool, to reduce the contact-resistance. :) It's all part of a programme of regular inspection and maintenance, designed to keep a vehicle in roadworthy condition and hence ensure a very high probability of passing the strictest interpretation of the annual MOT roadworthiness test. 8)

I turned all the fuses, the brake lights do as well. The bright light changer that is also the turn signal is the only thing not working.
