| Okay are the bumper brackets for a split different than later bug. If they are (seem to be...) can you make latter ones work? Next what color should the bumpers be for a standard. |

There early brackets were 2 leave (steel), the laters on the back were 3. Dimensionally, I think they were the same. Laters should work
Bumpers were painted body color on stds. |

I do have a original bracket for the left front but I think it might of come off the 46 that the PO parted... It is very rusty and crusty. It is complete with some newer welding on the bracket.
Not sure if I will get the horn mounted this time but am trying to get the bumpers on. As Jim P told me it does look a lot better with them on. |

Hi, does anyone knows from which year the brackets with 3 leaves started to come in the bug? I'm restoring a 56 and 59 VW bug and I don't know wich is correct (2 or 3 leaves). I need some help, tks. Rudi |
