| Weber DFAV 2 brl carb.Pertronix billet distributor.Flame thrower coil.No t-stat.No heat.No stand off decklid.Most of the time it diesels after shutting off engine.AS case.Whats the timing suppose to be at?Had it like 2degrees ATDC.Any help would be helpful.Thanks in advance..Kory H. |

Rich fuel mixture setting and or jetting.
Incorrect fuel pressure.
Bad needle and set.
Bad float.
Cheep gas or incorrect fuel octane for the combo. |

| Can also be electrical system back feed.Disconnect/disable the charging system and try it again.If it continues, it's likely one of the problems mentioned above. |

At 2 ATDC, it's gotta be running pretty hot.
I'd start at 28-30 degrees advance at full advance and see what that does for you.
Also try disconnecting the distributor + wire to the coil while it is running and see if it still diesels. |
