| If a clutch cable adjust (may be stretching) doesn't help it's likely the synchro wearing, an oil change may prolong it but the only real fix is a trans rebuild. |

| I had this problem. Thought it might be the pilot barring, but that was replaced and still did it....then came the rebuild, probably not the clutch if everything else shifts fine...2nd syncro might be dying...don't down shift into 2nd...you'll still get a lot of life out of the trans. I waited until it then ground shifting into 3rd, and was a bitch to get into first...along with a nice grind/thunk putting it in reverse before the rebuild... |

I have this problem now too. But only since I did some maintenance on the gear shifter. ie. replaced the front shift bush, removed, cleaned, regreased the shifter. I think I don't quite have the shifter aligned 100% as before I did all this it was OK.
Maybe try realigning the shifter?, this is my next step.
