| For a stock 1600dp (bug) at sea level what should I start my jetting at? I have a header and read that maybe I should have a bigger idle jet? Right now I have 55 idles, 145 mains and 160 airs. I've never jetted carbs myself before so thanks in advance. (Yes I will set my fuel pressure and float levels when I get my rebuild kits and I read the ACN directions for jetting but it seemed it was geared more for IDFs). I have a 009 and a 019, would jetting change if I swapped dizzys? |

I'd start at 130 main and jet up from there.
If you maintain the same total advance, swapping distributors should not have an effect on jetting. |

| Any thoughts about bigger idles to start with because of the extractor exhaust? I'll order some mains on Monday, should I bother with different airs? Thanks |

I run 55 idles in a 1641 with ICTs and a header-if you're already buying jets it couldnt hurt to buy a couple more
I changed from a 009 to an 019 and I love it |
