| Hi, we have a 1970 Bay Camper Westy which broke down last night. It pinged out of reverse and was very difficult to select gears afterwards. A little bit later on it wouldn't select any gear at all but got stuck in reverse. The clutch pedal has gone slack and doesn't come up as high as usual anymore. It is still stuck in reverse and won't even go into neutral. Does anyone have any ideas?! |

could be busted trans mount...
if you rock the van back and fourth, and while you doing that, try to move the shifter to N if you can, then its the cable.
if you can not, it could be the mounts, you will have to get under the bus and check out the front mount
if the mount and cable is good , the t/o arm could have failed |
