The bay window forum is taking over my life.

I actually bought an iPhone and set up my email on it and a shortcut directly to the bay window forum, just so I don't have to be tied to my computer to stay in communication and keep tabs on what people are discussing.

I have learned more from this forum on the topic of bay window buses that from any other resource EVER on any other topic--and only being able to get responses or ask questions when I am near a computer sucks.

I am a self admitted addict okay. Are there other addicts as bad as me or maybe even worse?

I automatically go to the samba when I open my browser, even if I have something else to do, it is like autopilot! I am a addict as well...

same here i haven`t even brushed my teeth yet...it just happens i get to the computer before the bathroom doh!

I never thought of making this forum my actual start page for when I open firefox! That's actually a good suggestion!!

That would NOT be good! :shock: Well, not in my case anyway. You would see posts that read like this:

My computer battery went dead on a short vacation with the family, the computer died, i went into an irratable mood with a cold sweat and chills/shaking..I stole out into the night to a be4st buy and "copped"a battery and charger! With shaking hands I pluged it in ...and thenSAMBAAAA

...there's a few others that haven't come forward... I sense it! :wink: So, for those of you who don't KNOW you're addicted, here's a few good signs:
Your children refer to "Chug Chug" or "Big Blue" as if they are household names of family members or friends.
You leave your sound on your computer fairly loud at night so you can hear the email alerts if someone responds to a thread your following.
You learned for the first time how to assign special keys to your computer that will take you directly to thesamba.com bay window forum.
You had a simple life as a typical guy/gal. You bought a bus and now your kitchen/living room are full of power tools, experiments/tests on bus parts, and generally a lot of bus related books and parts.
You used to enjoy your sleep, but now you think that sleep is wasting valueable time that you could be using to improve your bus.

If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, then you need to admit your addiction and post a reply here!!

My 5 year old daughter knows pickle pickle and busdaddy and EZgruv by name, and others cause she remembers their cute names....She asks if I'm laughing about Nigel again, cause she asked me once why I was laughing so loud and I told her...My wife asked what Raby says...when I was pondering some options..

hi first time poster long time addict, just got my new bus a few weeks ago, found it here on the site, i think i have gone to page 398 so far of reading old posts(i get lots of interweb time at work) i am truly addicted
