Did anyone see The Dark Night and catch this? There is a scene (daytime) where Bruce Wayne is in the Lamborgini and passes a new Beetle. As he does, there is the unmistakable sound of an air cooled Beetle (Technically called "Fweem", if you are new to the term click here.)

I wonder if a sound engineer was an aircooled fanatic and thought he would do something "cool" and see if anyone noticed.....or they told some $9/hr intern to go find a sound clip of a "VW Beetle", and the sound editor had no clue....

I've seen that movie twice so far and I've noticed the beetle (Aftermarket air scoop?) but never noticed the "Fweem." Is that what that noise is called?? Hmmm....another reason to go see it again!! Am I the only one who thinks that Heath Ledgers Joker was phenomenal?? I've been a Batman fan for a long time and this movie takes the cake as the best one yet!! I heard rumors the next one was going to be the court trial of the Joker but with Ledgers death I'm not sure what they'll do.

Ledger was phenomenal. I don't go see movies at all, thought that Nicholson had set the standard with creepy character, but Ledger was fantastic. And I'm not easily impressed. He'll win a posthumous Oscar for that one for sure....

The move plot was great, and all the right DC comic-isms. Nice that the "city" was not never done like in the last moves. I read that the director want it to be more realistic.
