Can I get a brighter bulb for the brake lights on my 66?? When I have the headlights on and the tails lights going, my brake light is almost to dim to see the difference.. Thanks in advance, Dave

An easy thing to try is cleaning the contacts where the bulbs fit. I used some sandpaper on the bulb contact points and on the bulb holders and it made a significant difference in brightness.

YES! if it has been converted to 12 volt, there are LED light bulbs available over the counter at most auto parts stores. Not cheap! We just picked up a set for the trailer, $16 each.
6 volt LEDs are also available but you probably won't get them over the counter. Try here;

Clean and solder connectors in the main circuit (voltage reg, hadlight switch, fuse box, headlights) and you will gain another volt, brightening them considerably.
