Now that I have permission, would love input...here's the original e-mail from me to Gerson:

Hey there...I wanted to get your feelings/inputs on something that came to me out of the blue...bear with me, I'll make this as short as possible lol.
I have a 1960 Crew-cab, fairly original with performance engine and trans.
I've been talking with Kelly Jr. for a couple of years about doing the bodywork with your panels, it's pretty solid, but needs corners, one dogleg, battery tray etc.
I've got an appointment this fall with Kelly to get the work done.
I've replaced all of the wiring, new engine and trans, new brakes etc. interior was redone by Octavio in CA blah, blah, blah.
After Kelly does the metalwork, my next step is media-blasting it inside and out, and paint...It's originally Grey, and I do plan on keeping it stock in appearance, ride-height etc.
Well...I know your signature is the "Funky Green Panels" which I love, and Green is my favorite color, and one day it hit me that it would be cool as heck to paint it your Green as a tribute/advertisement for your panels, because you've done so much for the hobby with your line of products, and I think a bullet-signal Crewcab would look freaking awesome that color, and with everyone crazy about OG logo busses, I think it would be even better with your Logo on the doors.

You've got a fantastic reputation in the industry, and it's not like you need any extra advertising, I just think it would look incredible.

I'm based in the Midwest, so I'm not a part of the CA "scene", but I do plan on driving it to OCTO and the Classic every year.

Anyway...let me know your thoughts on the whole deal.

..Michael

Thanks!!

It would need white stars on the doors, and a 60mm mounted in the bed.

I'm from the South...got a little Redneck left in me, so I'm game...but only if I could put it back to "Stock" in a weekend lol

I think that green would look cool.

It looks like a model I painted with chalkboard spray paint. I liked the way it turned out.

Wasn't necessarily set on the primer look, just the hue, gloss or not...I don't know just an idea...Grey is my favorite commercial color, though...paint's at least a year away, so no big hurry...I'll probably stay stock, but I do think a Klassicfab truck would look great.
