This troll was 60 miles east of you Memorial Day and the 4th of July. Between pike fishin and cruising the logging "roads" I was having a ball.

I stay at my Grandfather's cabin in beautiful downtown Melstrand. It is the middle of nowhere from there all the way to Grand Marais.Lotsa pike lakes, lotsa woods, lotsa trails, lotsa skeeters. The snowmobile trail system through there is great-you can see a lot of country on those trails.I learned to drive in those woods in 1968,in my Dad's tub buggy. 40hp,bus trans with rgb's,h78-15 snow tires on Chevy rims.it was a ball then, and still is!

I'm down in S.E. Michigan looking for some decent trails to run down this way... I have a place up in Bearlake, I'd love to go run some of the old rail lines up there but as for now my pocket book says thats out of the question  lol

Does anyone ride down here anywhere ?

I use to live in Clinton Twp. At 15 and harper. moved up to Houghton Lake in '99. we have plenty of trails around me and a hand full of rails and the occasional baja beetle. st. helen is just around the corner and they say it is one of the best orv trails in michigan.
