I have an 86 syncro and the tranny is popping out of first (not low)
gear. It only happens when coming off of a load, like going hard in
first then letting off the gas. It happens mainly when I'm on a steep
dirt road either going up or down. I have adjusted both places that I
know how to adjust but haven't made it any better. I have twisted the
floor adj. back and forth and twisted and lengthened the spline joint. Any ideas? It has recently been rebuilt by a reputable builder.

| Nothing in writing but he will probably fix it if it is determined that is internal. I talked to him about it and he doesn't think it's internal. I want to exhaust all other options first though. |
