| I'm looking into swapping out my 1600EFI for an 1835 or 1914. It might be a dumb question but how much power can a stock transaxle take?? I have a 68 square with a stock trans and engine and would like to know what everyone else knows before I jump into a new motor. Thanks all. |

| it really depends on your driving style. i drive a 2332cc car and a 1904cc car with bone stock transmissions in them. no issues. but, i don't hammer the throttle without preloading the transmission firsts and i don't rev to the moon either. |

| Thats good to hear. I'm planning on hauling a puck trailer so looking for some more power to make sure that isn't going to be a problem. |
