does anyone have a source for door hinge pins and bushings for 1963 type 34? I have considered drilling and bushing them myself, but would rather use stock parts if I can find them. any other ideas would be appericiated. thanx pax

Have you checked with House of Ghia to see if they can Repair and Return them? They rebuild Type 1 Ghia hinges.

hey i looked on the house of hia site and i called the guy but i dont think that the hinges are the same as they are on the type 3 ghia. so just let me know if you find out anything else thanks pax

As far as I know the parts are not available. You need to either get the bushings made or have a machine shop do it.

had the wifes razor hinges done at a localmachine shop ......cheap too !!

Check around on the Type 34 website as there are several people there who have rebuilt their own hinges. There may even be a write-up there. And yes, the Type 34 hinges are specific to the Type 34.
