I have a 74 super, had it for about 1 month, and my odometer never worked, but today, driving home, my speedo just stopped, now I hear a "clicking" sound coming from my driver's front wheel well area...
Anyone know how to fix this problem, or what I should be looking for? :?: |

| The speedometer cable has probably broken. The odometer is another problem. There is a plastic gear inside the speedometer that breaks. |

| take the hub cap off the front drivers side and see if you can see the cable poking through the center cap. It should have a c-clip on the end of the cable, which holds the cable in place. no cable poking through means no speedo working |

In the month I've owned it, the odometer has rolled about 1 1/2 miles.
I'll check in the hubcap for the wire.
If it is broken, how easy/hard is it to replace or fix? |
