| Vaseline will help the dash as well. Don't use Armor-All as it dries out what you're trying to shine. |

Dont armor-all your tires either, that stuff is terrible. There are a ton of vinyl conditioners out there, I use the turtle wax brand thats specifically for the dash, I forget what its called, I work at a detail center/car wash and thats the closest to what they use thats available to the public. I use it on my panels and the vinyl parts of my seats also. So far so good. Vaseline works great, especially in a couple of thin coats, I just dont like the smell. |

Best protection for the dash is a window shade, like those cardboard accordian things.
I use 303 Aerospace Protectant which came recommended by a boat yard as the best UV protection and no alcohol to dry things out. |

I got one of those carpeted custom fit dash mats and it actually fits great and looks good too. I intended to only use it around town and remove it if I went on a cruise or a show, but it looks good enough I left it on all the time.
And yes, the 303 Protectant is great stuff but it is expensive! |

| Ive used Vanilla smella vasoline for years now on the dash, arm rests and inside rubber. Before I wash the car I slobber up the outside rubber- wait an hour then wash her up. |

...His inflatable vinyl 'Girlfriend'
I use 'Rustic Touch' - it's a Tea Tree oil based cleaner.
It lifts grime off the vinyl and absorbs into it, protecting it from drying out and cracking.
Gives a really nice shine with no chemicals, and smells really good.

I just got an NOS early dash and should I put some Vaseline on it now.

the Notch.

My Dash:
Slather Vaseline on it and wrap it in plastic. When the time comes to install the dash, wipe it with a dry cloth to pick up any remaining traces. I've also heard baby oil, applied with a rag, helps preserve these dashes. |
