| so it turns out that my fuel tank is rusted and my pump went on my 73 fi 1600 sqbck, i plan to jimmy something for a tank, but what can i guy get a pump out of, with out paying the 400 for a new one? |

Search the Type 3 forum for "fuel pump" and you will find a lot of suggestions, from taking it apart yourself, to the "diesel dunk," to Jim Adney's rebuilding, to an old Ford Ranger pump. Then there is ebay or Samba.
