| Got a pretty nice 1990 syncro recently (first VW since my '70 adventure camper 30 years ago!). After I slid the sliding door shut today it became completely stuck! The key/lock works both inside and out but the handle won't release. Is there an easy fix for this? |

| Did you try taking the inside door panel off? You might be able to see what the problem is from there. |
