I got a couple issues i need to figure out for my 68, i found 3 sq backs on some land, 2 of them have highback seats, 1 has the lowbacks that i desire. However the lowback bottoms are rusted and completely broken. Could i use the highback bottoms and all the bottom stuff and put the low back tops on. I only ask because to get these seats out is going to take ALOT of work out in the hot sun cause the frames are rusted and wont budge.

Another q i have is, my sqback has 1 piece windows and i do not like them, are they worth anything cause i would like to trade them for some vw stuff if they are.

the last q i have is, both of my doors are cut up from the moron PO, i want to take the driver door off of a 1970 or so squareback that is complete with all the guts and windows. Is it the same door, could a vw enthusiast find a way to tell that its not the right year door. Of course ill paint it and the people wouldnt know but are there any distinguishing marks on the later doors. Thanks Josh

Depending on the year, yes you can use the bottoms.

No, they aren't really worth anything.

I believe the '70 doors are the same as '68.

i would love to have a set of one piece windows. i hate the vent windows. too bad your in texas, ide come take those windows off your hands.

68 and 70 doors are the same 67 are all by them selves as well as 66 are 1 year only

well ill have my 2 piece windows in a couple of weeks, so ill be selling the 1 piece windows on the cheap, josh
