Does anyone know what years and if it is beetle ECU or a van part
BOSCH ECU # 280 000 105 and 280 000 115

That is a bug ECU VW # 043 906 021.
There is also a # 043 906 021D.
I dont know what the difference is. |

The 0280000105 is for an early (1975) fuel-injected Type 1 engine.
The 0280000115 is for a later (1978) fuel-injected Type 1 engine.
I am not sure when the switch occurred or if there were any different part numbers in between. |

What if i used a 1978 on a 1975 what would happen any idea?
I have a 1975 that came with no ecu and someone gave me a 0280000115 (1978). The car starts and idle good but has no power when you hit the gas. You think that is the ecu?
