| i let out the clutch and engine revs but only while taking off i loosened the throttle cable and it doesnt do it as bad . the motor is a dualport 1600 it has solid motor mounts. |

| My guess is that the throttle cable is caught on the clutch arm which pushes the cable back causing this problem. |

| it only does it while taking off though if it was the clutch arm wouldnt it do it every time i let the clutch out |

| Check your throttle return spring and make sure your accelerator linkage returns to the idle position when you let it go. My accelerator pump was rubbing slightly on the body of my generator and would sometimes hang up a little and not return to idle. After a slight grind with a dremmel on the generator housing it works fine. |
