View original topic: what is the thread size of the knobs on the dash?

odd question I know, but I really would like to replace the cheap-looking plastic/rubber knobs on the dash with something more sturdy and classy. I haven't been able to find any reproduction knobs that I'm happy with (i'm very picky) so I want to find my own custom solution. it looks close to 1/4-20 thread, but I can't tell for sure, and I'm sure it's something metric. anyone have any idea, or know how i could find out, save testing a bunch of different ones to see what fits?

thanks :D

There is a little set of tools that comes in a tap and die set for measuring threads. They look like little saws.
