| Has anyone had a clutch disc get stuck to a flywheel? I got a used motor with pressure plate and clutch still on it. Put the motor in the car `and got it running but it wont shift. I did pressure wash the long block a few weeks ago. Years ago I redid a rolled F150 and water got to the cluch and froze it to the flywheel, it finally POPED and its been running fine since. Clould this be the case with the vw? I have bled the master cylinder and tried adjusting the freeplay but still nothing, shifts fine when not running but NOT when running, this trans was fine before the engine swap. |

| Yes, a disc can stick to a flywheel..Hold the clutch down.Put the car in 1st.Rock it back and fortht HRD.This will usually crack it loose. |
