Does anyone know if they make em small enough for use on a bug?

In my opinion they are too complex to set up on anything other than a vehical that came previously equipped with them. There are better ways of making a turbo spool up faster.

They make them small enough, the question would be can they take the heat? Most of the VG turbos I see are on diesels, which have lower EGT's.

In my opinion you would not want one on a air cooled combo. You would be building heat/boost when it’s not needed, just build a larger combo to drive on when off boost.
