I'm looking at running the 17x7 escras radars under my 68 square. Also, I'll be using an adapter that will add a 1/2in of track to each side. What will that track change do to my driveability and is there any other issues I should look at for running such a large rim?? I know that I might have to run a 4" narrowed beam to make everything clearance. Any help would be very appreciated :D

what if instead of the adaptors, you converted to the wide 5 bug discs? I think it was mentioned that when doing this, you gain 1/2 inch of clearance per side, plus you would have the bennifit of not using crappy adapters

I would love to do that but it's a matter of cash flow right now. I might just have to stick with the BRM's instead. Do you think that narrowed front beam would make a difference??

So it looks like you've got 4 lugs up front. Did you use an adapter plate for the rear or something else??

no I swapped the rear to Wide 5 discs and now my finances arent allowing me to continue my little endeavor, I have a pair of adapters but dont have the money to put tires on the front wheels to test it out, my guess is they wont work. Im gonna be going to a narrowed beam soon hopefully.

Killer. Sounds like the plan I'm going with too..eventually. Can I ask where you got your rearend kit from? I'd like to get myself at least disc all the way around.

With those wheels, a Type1 beam is your friend, for sure....

Well, you can opt to install a Type 1 narrowed from beam, but, in the process, that will entail a lot of conversion, and, of course, cash flow!
