i race a vw with a high compresion ratio, not sure of the exact amount, but the rule book of the series im into says "COMPRESSION RATIO IS FREE"
we everybody uses premium fuel (92 octane) and add octane booster.. generally NOS racing formula, i think thats the best we can find in my town.. anyway.. what migh happen if i use like a hole bottle of it to 15liters of gas??? or what happens if you use too much. or what its the best proportion?? in the nos bootle says that 1 bottle treats up to 16 gallonz, but i dont want to economize.. i want the most octane i can get..(WITHOUT USING RACING FUEL)
thanks |

If you want to win the race forget about that snake oil shit in a bottle and buy real race gas.
Do not run Av gas either.
But wait, I see you are in Mexico so you might be stuck with what you got. Follow the directions printed on the bottle. |

| octane booster is the only thing i can get in my town.. but what i want to know is the maximum amount i can use... dont know what happens if you put to much... the instructions in the bottle says that one bottle threats UP to 16 lts... but doesnt say the perfect maximum proportion.. |

I run octane booster in my buggy and if I add too much its sluggish,
....not enough and it pings...
Adding more than a few (4oz) or so to 10 gals will just be a waste.
Octane booster doesn't add horsepower itself it just allows you to run
your selected compression ratio and advance, with dignity.
Thats where the power comes from... go easy with the booster. |
