I'm a first time rebuilder and have my bentley in front of me. I'm replacing my cam and have the new bearings (but not the old ones to compare). Only one of the pieces (not both pieces of the set, only one of the halfs) looks like a thrust type bearing (has a lip). The bentley doesn't have a picture or a good description of installing the cam bearings. Is only one half of the rear cam bearing a thrust, and does it go in the right or left engine half (left, I think, for the proper oil flow).
Thanks for any help |
