Ok, to clear up all the gray area and fill in the blanks..... here's the low down on what's up: Straight from Kip

* This show in shine was not assembled to draw those away from the Sebring show!!!*
Rare and Unique and The Distillery have came together to put something together for the true diehard air cooled drivers. Show-n-Shine @ The Distillery September 13th from 3pm- til last call( 2:30 am)! For those of you who don't know what a show-n-shine is, it's a gathering of those people that believe in driving their air cooleds without being rewarded with a trophy, but with a good time,good music, good cars, and good beer! If you just have to have a trophy, go somewhere else! There will also be classic cars there and american cars as well, this show is being put on by a local carshow organization that host weekly carshows through out the Bradeton/Sarasota area, but it's time for the air cooled vw scene to roll out and show up strong. The goal of Rare and Unique and The Distillery is to take over the parking lot and dominate with air cooled vws.
The Distillery is the top notch bar in the Bradenton/Sarasota area, voted Top 5 Bars in FL & Top 100 bars in the U.S in 2007! With live music 4 to 5 days a week, with atleast 30 different draft beers along with numerous bottle and canned beers as well, oh and can't forget...a full Liquor Bar!!!!
Some of you already know what Rare and Unique is all about, but for those who don't, here's your chance to find out! This allows you to hang out and get loose with all your true air cooled vw drivers and enjoy live music and throw back a few cold ones.
This is a gathering of air cooleds that Rare and Unique and The Distillery would like to start doing every 3 or 4 months.

Also, there will be free swaping for those who wish to make a little extra flow or get rid of a few extra parts they have lying around.

** There will also be a cruise from The Distillery to a local establishment for some good eats and to the beach on the 13th @ promtly 12:00. Then returning to The Distillery by 3:00.**

This year is the 8th annual Rare and Unique Slam starting at 3:00 pm until the Fat lady sings . Addmission is $15 a head, childern are free. All you can eat food from 5-8 and free drinks and beer ALL NIGHT LONG!! Live music from 6pm-12am. NO Trailer Queens!

I know it's a bit of a drive but we could stay at the lake manatee state park.

But knowin all yall we'd be better off stayin at the hotel. Then your drunk asses won't be drivin. Better yet lets set up camp in the damn parkin lot of the distillery. 8)
