| it only comes on when its warm. using 10 30 synthetic oil. it doesnt come on when the engine is cold at all. once oil temps hit 180 or above, it begins to flicker then stays on at idle. this engine has a bout 3000 miles on it. what should i look for.....maybe wrong oil weight?? |

Oil weight is ok. (I think)
You may just have a low rpm idle or a not perfect sender switch or both.
What idle speed.. and switches are cheep / easy to replace.
If that doesn't work then you need to know what the actual pressure is. |
