| Hit the junkyards in Wilmington, Ca. today, and found a 65 walk thru bus (pretty picked over). I got underneath to grab some small stuff, and noticed what seems to be a new or rebuilt TRW steering box. I'm sure it's brazillian, because the pitman arm is larger. Anyway, just wanted to give a heads up to anyone in the area that needs one. Looks like the drag link and tie rods are fairly new and usable too. This is the yard on Eubanks. Happy hunting, Tim. |

Tim The yard we found the Bus is called Ecology Auto Wrecking. I sure hope someone gets the steering box before they crush it and make a honda out of it. |

There is alot of good stuff on the bus still, what a shame this bus is so solid, dry, and straight. Somebdoy butchered the drivers side rear corner.
Tranny with reduction box's
all engine tin from a dual port motor is there
front end minus spindles
roof is solid
rest of the body is really nice |
