| i have a new tranny and i am having trouble i cant get reverse and its hard to find the gears 3 and 4 if i adjust i can get 1 and 2 but not all at once i put a new coupler on also. what is the main difference between and type1 and type 3 tranny if they mistakenly gave me a type 1 tranny what kinda problems might i have HELP!! |

the nosecone is different from type 1 to type 3. the divet for the setscrew is in a different place.
sounds like the adjustment of the shifter is screwy. how are you adjusting the shifter placement? do you have a stock shifter or aftermarket? |

| The oint set screw on the cupler should bo into a divot on the bottom fo the shift rod of the transmission. |

| i have the screw in the divot and have adjusted the shifter(stock) every different way but the cup that the shifter sits in seems to lean to far to the passanger side |
