Hello!
Im about to build a new engine for my -69 bug.
It will be used on the street but it will not be a daily driver.
I will occasionally take it to the strip and I want it to be fast. :lol:
Well, I was thinking of buying all the stuff from the states (I live in Sweden) because it seems to much cheaper than it is here.
I will buy almost all parts from CB.
This is the combo that I have come up with so far after reading alot on this forum, but I need input on cam and compression and so on:

Dual 48 IDA kit with big beef manifolds
044 CNC wedgeport heads 44x37
Forged rocker arms 1.4:1
Racing push rod tubes
s/s valves, dual super rev springs, chromoly retainers and
supergrip valvelocks
chromoly pushrods
Oil maxi pump 2
2qt wide glide sump
Will the FK-87 be too much or should I go for a FK-10?
how about 10:1 CR? on 98 octane? |
