WOW...that has to be one of the worst modifications anyone has come up with for a bus and worse a flipseat!
Being a Flipseat owner, I know first hand with the lack of the bulkhead or the reinforcment bars found on walk through buses the flipseat lacks some serious structure already. Hacking a hole like that in the roof through the rain gutter/roof support is just horrible. I bet that think creeks, leaks and the body flexs all over the place when driving it.
Why would someone do this when the original hatch is only a few inches smaller...weird. |
