I checked there - only found the later style - plastic end caps.

Those are accessory handles (I believe dealer installed). I forgot the manufacturer (maybe Hapaich sp.) but Mark Adair
used to have a bunch of those back in the day. The last NOS one I bought cost me 150 dollars and I haven't seen any for sale in a long while.

That looks very similar if not identical to the handles in my 61 deluxe. Triangular in cross section rather than oval.
Chrome ends rather than plastic.
This kind was used on certain pre-62 buses.

I believe this style is not reproed. Surf the classifieds. They come up in the swaps from time to time.
I've picked up some to upgrade my bus handles. The bulkhead one was missing when I got the bus. It was clearly that kind from the shape of the imprint on the panel from the ends of the handle.

The one I posted a pic of is from the bulkhead of a 62 Deluxe - original to the bus. I was afraid it would be unavailable - what do people doing high end early restos do?

Here's the same type handle in the dash of a 62 Deluxe:

I would (have) searched for a nice original one.
Interesting that it's in a '62. BTW, what is the build date on that bus?

the one on the dash of my '61 is okay.
