| I run a razor blade down each side of the remaining rubber and then pull it out. |

| you will have to make a cut on each side of the sealing flap and dig it out with a pick and a razor knife...it is alot of work, but just think, your windows will not leak when your done. |

They also won't open.....make sure you polish and wax those window ledges before you install the window. Some baby powder or glyserine will help when opening/closing the frames. |

| My "new" seals are almost 2 years old and are just starting to be functional in terms of opening and closing the windows. In the last 2 years I broke 1 original SIGLA window, 1 tab on a frame and 2 spoon latches. I would love to know what it was like to use the originals when they were new. I'm sure they worked as one would expect. So what's different now and how come the new seals have these issues? |

I slathered glycerine all around my new seals for 2 months after installng, and they are still VERY tight.
No one else is allowed to open them... |

Anybody have a problem with theirs popping out of the groove?
Especially around the corners... Mine (WW) are very "sloppy".
Almost as if the mold tolerances are WAY undersize. |

YES! It seems like my rubbers are just a tad too big, so they like to come undone. If I open the pop outs too much (like when installing latches) the hinge side often pops out, and we have to start all over again.
I HATE installing pop-outs. Most annoying thing in the world if you ask me.
If I ever get another bus, It'll probably end up without pop-outs. |

I think the original ones must have been a slightly different shape and the rubber probaly a bit softer.
I have a very old seal on my 54 and the windows seem a lot easier than on my 67. |
