Here is a new pic of the methanol injection and reworked exhaust. I let off the gas at 115mph going UP to the Eisenhauer Tunnel at the continental divide in Colorado. I still had plenty more to go.

What kind of RPM are you turning at that speed?? Just curious.
I have been to about 105 in a Porsche powered bug, and about 100 mph in a stock 73 T-3. |

| Thanks Kris! I didn't have this set up at bug in and was only running 16's. Since then I had to replace the axles with HD due to snapping one in Ft Collins the day after the show. The methanol kit and exhaust were done recently. Oh, I added a muffler too. I would like to see 13's next year. Haven't dyno'd it yet but I know it's no less than 250 hp. I did take out an 1100 lb roadster and 2 bugs at the show but got beaten by a nos gti :x |

| I built a non combustible box to cover the engine and it combusted. I added some heat wrap to the inside of the box and it melted. My next step is to utilize the rear hatch as part of my box and add the heat wrap there which will give me about 6" of clearance from the header which happens to be the culprit. I have about 8" of equipment above the decklid |
