Does anyone know for sure what a 002 case is made of? aluminum or mag??
One of the two studs that hold the bowden bracket on is crack but not broken off and I want to run a pass over it to fix it.

file a small pile shavings off put a torch to them and see if they flare up
melt = ok
flash = bad!
