Fresh off utilizing this catspaw technique to pop out my final drive seals, I'm moving on to replacing the rear driveshaft oil seal the same way.
Question: Bentley shows an Oil Return Sleeve (6-17) beneath that seal, and I'm wondering if there's a chance of f!@*ing it up with a wayward drill bit gone too deep. Anyone? |

Put a sleeve of small tubing on the drill so it doesn't go in too deep.
