Motor is a D0417624 which i believe is a 1200 CC from 65
Distrubutor is
Two sets of numbers
0231137035
113905205
Trying to figure out what i got in here. Its in a manx that i just purcahsed for 500 bucks.
I wanna change the points out and put an electronic ignition in. So what type of distributor is this??? Or what set of electronic ignition do i need
As well the carb is hootched its been welded and can no longer retain gas. So is a 30pic sutible or too much for a 1200CC???
Correct me on any of my writings in this e-mail
thanks

113 905 205 is the distributor number. There should also be a letter after that sequence of numbers.
5 years ago I was able to get a Pertronix ignition for my 205M distributor (1968 1500cc) but it seems all they have now is a kit for the shitty 009. |

Not so - I emailed them looking for the Perktronix for the 205 dist and they supplied the part number, but after swapping distributors back and forth, I found that my old 009 worked the best on my engine...go figure. |

| I would recomend going old school on a 1200. Buy an 010 distributor from Glenn. Look for a rebuildable Bugspray or similar Holley carb. You will be very pleased with the results in performance and reliability. |
