No no don't worry. But I did recycle my MK2 Jetta, it was rebuilt and bent and no one wanted to buy it so I parted it. The bare shell weighed about 500 lbs and it all fit into the Westy. Always amazes what you can fit into one of these. As I was pulling onto the scale the hispanic guy weighing me points at the Van and says, "Good car!" And while unloading outside an older guy with a Chevy pickup commented that I could fit more inside then he could in his bed and that its like a little house inside, and then asked me if I want to sell it. Sell my recycling home on wheels... heck no.

Yeah, these things can haul. After weighing in and checking the GVWR I realized it can hold 2.5x as much as that load (more if you subtract the Westy parts). If you're not in any hurry, that is. |
